Thank you, Andrea @ Andrea’s Nirvana, for tagging me! I always get so excited and honoured whenever people tag me in things. Like, in my mind, I’m all hyped up thinking that y’all must be in love with my blog! Anyway, let’s begin!
Rules:
- Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their blog.
- Answer the questions sent to you.
- Nominate around ten bloggers.
- Create your set of questions for your nominees [people seem to be going with the same questions so… I’ll just do the same].
- List the rules and display the Brotherhood of the World logo in your post.
Briefly explain your blogging style (where your favorite blogging spot/tools are– as in, on the couch using your smartphone or something).
I’m very basic…? I begin by making an outline of what I want to post for the month, although this varies according to what I want to prioritize at the moment. I use my laptop to blog, never my phone – except for blog hopping.
Regarding my blogging style, I’m not sure how to describe it! I feel my tone is a bit serious with bits of humour here and there. I’m not very hyper or excitable on my own blogging platform but I find that when I comment on other people’s post, I’m excitable haha…
How do you manage your blogging time including blog reading time?
I try to set aside my weekends to write up blog posts and take pictures, although sometimes I get a bit busy. If that happens I blog in the mornings. Since my workload is not as much as it was before, I have more time reading now. So I read most mornings and at night before going to bed. I do feel this will be changing in the near future.
Who is your most read author?
Goodreads says it’s J.K. Rowling but that’s only because of the seven part Harry Potter series. After Rowling it’s Robert Jordan because of The Wheel of Time series.
How did you come up with your blog name?
Here’s a secret: my name isn’t really Camillea. I mean, it is but it isn’t. Camille is the second half of my first name. Since I was a kid I’ve always wanted to be called by Camille, rather than the first half.
When I began writing poetry, I created Camillea as my pseudonym – the a coming from my last name. So with that, Camillea, my alter ego, was born.
From there, it’s pretty obvious how I came up with my blog name. It’s nothing creative. It’s simple and easy to remember.
What keeps you blogging?
The people I’ve met on this platform. I’m a painfully shy person in real life. Thanks, anxiety. Blogging is one way for me to meet new and like-minded people. In a way blogging has even made me more confident because it has given me the opportunity to be honest and talk about my mental illness and trauma. Book blogging has been a wonderfully positive impact on my state of my mind, and this is something I also want to impart on my readers. In simple words, I want to make people happy and inspire them to fall in love with themselves.
Once again, thank you, Andrea! I had so much fun answering these questions!
