February 2020 Wrap Up

Mabuhay, friends!

So, February turned better than I expected it to be. It has been a quiet month for me which is the best I could have asked for since January. I’ve been able to get back into blogging and reviewing ARCs.

🌺  My writing has picked up allowing me to hit 42,000 words for my current WIP! Also, I may have a surprise for those who have been interested in my WIP.

🌺 I attended the book launch for Bonnie Wynne’s The Ninth Sorceress! Another beautiful book from Talem Press. I had an amazing time, and getting to meet Bonnie was the biggest highlight!

🌺 I finally opened up a Patreon! I wish I could be more happy about this but I’ve been having trouble promoting it on my platform because I worry that people will find it annoying.

🌺 With everything that happened in January, I’ve turned to cooking as a means of self-care. I don’t do it as often as I would like to but it’s been a great help for me to be able to “create” something (besides writing) without any pressure.

🌺 Emotionally, I’m doing a bit better.

I’m still struggling to understand the differences between Patreon and Ko-fi. I have a Ko-fi account, but I’ve seen Patreon on social media a lot. Would you recommend it so far?

I’m so glad you had a great February! I’ve also recently been using cooking as a creative outlet. I’ve experimented with quite a few random recipes these past few months and each time I try something new I get such a great feeling. Plus, I love how I get to try the results of my efforts after just an hour or two!
