SUNDAYS AT CAMILLEA READS || Falling Sick and My Magical Readathon Progress

Hello, everbody! Well, it has definitely been a dreadful start to July for me. Falling sick was not on the agenda but the monsoon does bring with it some friends. Oh well. That took my whole blogging schedule out of whack, landed me in a reading slump, and has laid bare my Bookstagram. Also, staying in bed gets exhaustive. I’m glad to have made a few attempts at blogging although not as consistently as I would have like.

I joined the MAGICAL READATHON: O.W.Ls Level this month since I wanted to take part in N.E.W.Ts this coming August. So far, I’m doing alright! I managed to read three books for Care of Magical Creatures, Herbology, and Charms. So I didn’t stick with my actual TBR, ouch! With three books done, I’ve achieved an Exceeded Expectations!

I’m so glad to finally have received a review copy of Allison Pang’s Magpie’s Fall. If you’ve been following me from the beginning you know how much I loved the first book, Magpie’s Song. I’ll need to do a re-read of Magpie’s Song first though before I get back into the Iron Heart Chronicles.

I also managed to make it to a small sale this week where I purchased long awaited copies of Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi, Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor, and American Gods by Neil Gaiman.

Three amazing books; how do I choose which one to begin with?
